In 2017 SBM opened an investment fund, focusing on start-ups and early-stage businesses with a potential to scale and create value. To date, we have investments in Europe, Israel and Africa in multiple market segments including tech, solar, real estate, lubricants and the automotive industry, with an average investment ranging between USD200-600K and exiting over a 3 to 5 year period through a strategic sale. We may consider investments over a million dollars but is only likely to do so through syndication. In addition to providing startup funding, we proved constant access to quality mentoring, vast networks and inputs on strategy as well as execution.
